Hello!
I’m me. Sarah E. The E stands for Elizabeth.
I was your average, stay-at-home mom. Cute kids, great husband, nice little house.
Then I ended up in a psych ward, struggling with a severe case of postpartum depression that had progressed to the point of psychosis.
I’m good now, but I believe I’m a survivor for a reason and hope to be a voice for those that have lost the battle.
Sadly, it’s an all-to-common one.
I’m a dabbler. That means I know a little about a lot and a lot about nothing.
My interests include (but are not limited to) running, reading, writing, cooking, sewing, dancing, designing, and photographing.
I like doing anything better if it involves someone else. So that’s why blogging beats journaling in my book. (Though I do value both.)
I’ve been happily married for nearly ten years, have four kids and no pets, and am lucky enough to be a full-time wife and mother.
I was raised on the East Coast, but after meeting my husband Mike at BYU, we settled in the Midwest. I love the green, but long for the ocean and mountains.
I have decided the longer I live, the more places I will miss.

I hadn’t looked at this until today when Sarah wrote a new post today. Thanks for thinking of me. My job here has really good insurance that covers mental health very well, so I have been able to have some good support. Though between us, I liked working with you better.
